Orange County deputies are searching for a teen who has not been seen since 2:30 p.m., on Tuesday.

18-year-old Emmanuel “Manny” Betancourt left his residence in the 300 block on North Mandrake Street and has not been seen since.

Emmanuel is Hispanic, about 5’5″ tall, weights about 140 pounds and was wearing a black spiderman logo t-shirt and blue jean shorts. He wears black prescription glasses.

Emmanuel was at home with his brother and mother when she heard a door chime sound. When his mother went to check on his presence, she discovered her son had left the residence. Emmanuel has the capacity of a young child and takes medication every four hours.

A massive search by Orange County deputies on foot, with a K-9 and in the air led to negative results.

His mother told investigators that Emmanuel likes big box stores, such as Wal-mart.

Anyone who might have seen Emmanuel is asked to call their local police, Orange County Sheriff’s Office of Crimeline at # 1-800-423-TIPS.
