Orange County Sheriff’s deputies are currently investigating two homicides within a one-hour period on Tuesday afternoon on Orange County’s west side.
The first homicide occurred around 1:48 pm, when deputies responded to 7077 Drury Lane, following a 911 call from a woman saying that shots were fired inside her home. Deputies upon arrival, found a man believed to be in his mid-20s suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
Orange County Fire Rescue responded to the scene and pronounced the man deceased.
Investigators said, the woman reportedly fled the home upon hearing the gunfire and ran to a neighbor’s house to report the incident.
Meanwhile, just before 3:00 pm, another 911 call was received in connection with a shooting at 4520 W. Colonial Drive.
Deputies found a male victim on the ground unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.
