Orange County Sheriff’s deputies have identified the man who was shot and killed near Waterside Apartments on Orange County’s eastside on Monday afternoon.
The deceased is Schuyler Christy, a 22-year-old white male. Deputies said they do not yet have a motive for the shooting.
Deputies were called around 5:00 pm on Monday to 7861 Shoals Drive, off Aloma Avenue in Orlando where they found a man, now identified as Christy dead, from gunshot wounds.
Jonathan Gonzales, a 20-year-old white male, also suffered serious gunshot injuries. He was taken to the Orlando Regional Medical Center, following the shooting. His current condition is unknown.
Police say that they are unaware whether Christy was enrolled in any school; the same for Gonzales.
As deputies continue with their investigation, a late 90’s model vehicle, blue or green in color, is being sort.
Deputies say that they have no suspect information at this time.
