A man, armed with a handgun, boldly entered a motel on Sunday night, held up an employee and made off with an undisclosed amount of money, Osceola County Sheriff’s deputies said.
Investigators would like the public’s help in identifying a suspect who went into the Goldstar Inn at 4600 west Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway in Kissimmee, just before 11:00 pm, and robbed a female employee.
The suspect initially entered the lobby of the motel, asked the female employee a few questions about renting a room, then left to get his identification from his vehicle. The employee told deputies, the man returned, approached the counter and pointed a handgun at her, demanding money. The man left the motel on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
A perimeter was established, with patrol, assistance of a helicopter and K-9 units, but all met with negative results.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’9” wearing blue jeans with orange stitching on the pockets and a bright green shirt. He might also have a tattoo on the inside of his right arm.
