Bay County deputies have arrested several people, after the body of an elderly man was found inside a freezer.
80-year-old Raymond Gsell’s body was found inside a freezer at his home, after investigators received a tip from an informant who had been asked to help dispose of the body, newsherald.com reports.
Deputies charged Gsell’s wife, 47-year-old Judy Lynn Gsell and 27-year-old Dawn Ross with strangling Gsell to death, after an argument broke out over money at the couple’s home where a party was in progress, early on Saturday.
Investigators believe Judy Gsell and Ross were smoking crack cocaine and using prescription drugs at the time of the argument. The pair used an electrical cord to strangle Raymond Gsell, investigators said, newsherald.com reports.
Authorities also charged James Timothy Wilson, present at the time, with accessorty to the murder. 25-year-old Ashley Knowles, who helped clean up the crime scene was also charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
