A man who Orange County Sheriff’s deputies believe is responsible for an attempted sexual battery on a female radio host early on Monday morning, has been arrested.
30-year-old Donald Destin, a transient, is accused of attempted to sexually batter a female radio host just before 6:00 am, at a radio station in the area of Pine Hills Road and Alhambra Drive.
The female victim told deputies that while on air, a black male suspect entered the building and attempted to sexually batter her, while making verbal threats.
The victim was able to distract the suspect, lure him outside, as she got into her car and locked the vehicle.
The suspect, later identified as Destin, re-entered the building and removed property from the victim’s purse.
Deputies arrested Destin earlier today. He was booked into the Orange County Jail just after 7:00 pm.
Destin has been charged with one count of attempted sexual battery and burglary of an occupied structure. He has not been granted bail.
