Two armed men robbed a motel and duck-taped an employee, before making off with an undisclosed amount of cash, Osceola County Sheriff’s deputies said.
Investigators learned that, initially, one of the armed suspects entered The Knights Inn at 7475 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway Kissimmee, inquiring about room rates on February 18, around 1:30 a.m. When the employee turned around to get the information, the suspect jumped over the counter and demanded the keys for the cash register. Another suspect then entered the motel and jumped over the counter.
During the armed robbery, a motel guest rang the bell to enter the lobby and the suspects hid behind the counter.
The suspects duck taped the employee’s hands and feet and fled with cash from the register. The suspects also stole the employee’s car key and left the motel in his vehicle.
The first suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6’2” with short side burns. He was wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt and black jeans. The second suspect is described as a black male wearing black jeans and a gray, wool face mask.
Detectives are also looking for the employee’s stolen vehicle which is described as a 1999 Blue Saab with Florida tag 472 1IP.
