A man was arrested Sunday, accused of fatally shooting another man and wounding two others at a party early this morning, Orange County deputies said.

22-year-old Erickson Occeus was taken into custody today, after investigators say he shot and killed 24-year-old Ury J. David at a home in the 1300 block on 43rd Street, around 3:00 a.m.

In addition to fatally shooting David, Occeus is believed to have shot and wounded 19-year-old Ricardo Mondesir and 23-year-old Greeberd Louis, who were also at the party.

Occeus fled the party by the time investigators arrived at the home and inadvertently dropped the firearm he used to shoot David, Mondesir and Louis.

Investigators are still searching for the firearm and would like anyone who might have picked it up to come forward as a witness and turn it over. It is evidence in this multiple shooting case, investigators said. Other witnesses who were present are asked to call the OCSO and provide investigators a statement.

Occeus has been charged with second degree murder, 2 counts of aggravated battery with a firearm and carrying a concealed firearm.

The motive for the shooting remains unclear as the investigation continues.
