A Deltona, Florida woman was sentenced to over seven years in federal prison for traveling to Oklahoma City on January 9, 2010 to have sex with a 14-year-old Oklahoma boy.
Annamay Alexander, 45 years, met the boy through an online Sony PlayStation video game when he was 13 years old. The two communicated via e-mail, text messages, instant messages, cell phone, and web camera over the course of nearly a year, culminating in Alexander traveling to Oklahoma, where she had sex with the boy upon arrival.
Alexander pled guilty in August 2010 and admitted she drove from Florida to the Oklahoma City area for the purpose of engaging in sex with a 14-year-old boy.
Federal Judge Miles-LaGrange ordered that Alexander serve five years of supervised release and must register as a sex offender upon her release from prison.
