An infant was pronounced dead on Monday afternoon after being taken to a local area hospital on Orange County’s east side.
Orange County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the infant’s home around 1:30 pm, where they found the child not breathing.
Orange County Fire Rescue paramedics administered CPR, but the child was pronounced dead after being taken to a local area hospital.
Homicide investigators are being called to the scene to conduct a death investigation.
