Troopers are investigating an early morning fatal crash on US 192 near Black Lake Road in Osceola which left a 24-year-old Orlando man dead.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a Mitsubishi Lancer, driven by Jovany Neftalirosa, 25, of Orlando, was traveling west on US Highway 192 in the right lane around 2:36 am on Wednesday. Troopers say that for unknown reasons, the car veered to the right and entered the north shoulder of US 192. The car continued traveling forward and the front struck a palm street.
There were two passengers in the Lancer, Rafael Frias, 25, and Daniel Llanos, 24, both from Orlando.
Neftalirosa, the driver, was taken to Celebration Hospital with minor injuries. Frias, who also suffered minor injuries, was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center.
Llanos was taken to Celebration Hospital, where he died from his injuries. He was not wearing a seat belt.
It is unclear whether or not alcohol played a role in the crash.
Troopers said that the crash remains under investigation and charges are pending.
