The deadline is approaching for the YMCA of Central Florida’s Spring Youth Sports Leagues registration, which is offering basketball, volleyball, swim teams, and soccer (Lions Pride Jr.) for children of all skill levels.
The YMCA of Central Florida’s Spring Youth Sports Leagues are open for registration through April 6th.
YMCA membership is not required, but YMCA members receive discounts. Through the YMCA partnerships with the Orlando Magic, Orlando City Soccer Club, Orlando Pride, and Orlando Valkyries, participants will also receive special perks from these professional teams. The YMCA is partnering with Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute as the official sponsor of the 2025 soccer and volleyball programs.
Regular registration (open to the public) runs through April 6th, with the season beginning the week of April 14th. Games will take place on Fridays or Saturdays from April 18th-19th through June 6th-7th at all YMCA of Central Florida locations.
Teams practice once a week, with minimal travel required for some games. Volunteer coaching opportunities are also available, and the YMCA offers a free sports season for each coach’s child or a free YMCA Base Membership for the duration of the season.
