Watch Charles Ramsey Speak about Finding Amanda Berry in Song!
Charles Ramsey, the man credited with rescuing three Ohio girls who have been missing for over a decade told reporters, “Bro, I knew something was wrong when a little pretty white girl ran into a black man’s arms.”
Ramsey, who first heard Amanda Berry screaming for help and then led police to two other missing girls, Gina DeJesus and Michele Knight, told reporters he heard screams as he was eating McDonalds at his house.
“I come outside and see this girl going nuts trying to get out of the house,” Ramsey said. He said he went on his porch and heard the woman, later identified as Berry, saying “help me get out, I have been here for a long time.”
Ramsey also said, he first thought it might be a domestic violence dispute in the home. He said he had to kick down the door for Berry to get out.
Some of Ramsey’s more interesting lines:
“Bro, I knew something was wrong when a little pretty white girl ran into a black man’s arms. Something is wrong here, dead giveaway, dead giveaway,” Ramsey told the media.
“Either she is homeless, or she got problems. That’s the only reason why she run to a black man,” Ramsey also said.
