Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) visited Tiger Woods’ home in Isleworth, near Orlando, last Friday, December 11th 2009, for a “well-being check.”
Orange County Sheriff’s deputies received a call for service and responded to the entrance of Wood’s gated subdivision where they met with a representative from DCF and assisted the staff member in gaining access to the community.
According to TMZ, DCF had received a complaint and proceeded to the residence to undertake a well-being check. The visit appeared to be a routine one, given that a complaint was lodged.
The Department of Children and Families is tasked with evaluating the well being of children and adults in homes.
TMZ also reports that a formal investigation has not been opened, although the case is being evaluated.
