A woman who left her 91-year-old mother sitting on a toilet for two days, ultimately leading to her death 10 days later, has been charged with manslaughter.
Sharon Caslow, 65, of Maryland, faces six counts of manslaughter after authorities ruled her mother’s death a homicide.
Caslow told police that she knew her mother, Audrey Caslow, 91, had been in the bathroom for two days, but she didn’t ask for help.
On January 17, Baltimore County medical officers found Audrey Caslow on the toilet at the home she shared with her daughter. Audrey Caslow died 10 days later from renal failure.
She calls herself a daughter, how could she do this to the person that cared for her all of her life. What a low life to do this to your elderly mother. I hope Audrey can forgive you even though you don’t deserve it. Rest in Peace Audrey
I worked with this deviant monstor back in the ’80’s in Maryland. Can you believe that this disgusting woman was an LPN nurse? I never did like her. She was a very pushy person and not very kind to her patients. As far as I’m concerned, she can rot in jail for the rest of her life for treating her mother like that. Rest in peace, Audrey.
Wonder if she had more than one bathroom? If not, where did she go? How could you not know someone was on the toilet for that long, even if you have more than one bathroom? Sounds like elder abuse, neglect and ultimately homicide. What a cruel, heartless person she is! Her mother deserved so much more than the die in such a disrespectful manner. Hope her jury is elderly with children. Payback/karma/justice is a b&tch!
