For those who you who wear nail polish, get ready to show identification when you hit the CVS drugstore and attempt to buy nail polish remover.
CVS has a new corporate policy which seeks to curb the making of meth. Nail polish remover contains acetone, one of the ingredients used to make meth in home labs.
A CVS spokesman said the new policy is based on regulations which control the sale of potential ingredients in methamphetamine, according to news reports.
Not only will CVS customers have to show ID, but limits will also be placed on the number of bottles of the product you can buy.
The new CVS policy has already been introduced in the north-east United States and the company expects over the next several weeks to go national.
