Cursing Car Carver Caught on Camera in South Florida Wanted by Police

Law enforcement is seeking a cursing car carver who was caught on camera in South Florida and they are asking for the public’s help to locate the individual.

Surveillance cameras rolled inside a North Lauderdale community in mid-October catching a foul-mouthed mischief maker and attempted car burglar in the act. Now, Broward County Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help to locate the individual.

According to detectives, shortly after 1am on October 17th, several individuals are spotted trying to open car doors in the Hamptons West community in North Lauderdale. After finding the car doors on a Nissan Sentra locked, one of the individuals decided to carve the word “bitch” into the victim’s hood. Detectives say the victim does not know the individual, and this appears to be a random incident.

On the same morning, individuals believed to be with the vandal are seen trying to enter other cars on the property.

Anyone with information on the identity or whereabouts of the individuals involved or regarding this crime is asked to contact BSO North Lauderdale District Detective Lisa Sokol at 954-720-2261 or submit a tip through the SaferWatch app. If tipsters wish to remain anonymous, they can contact Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477) or online. Tipsters can also dial **TIPS (8477) from any cellphone in the United States.
