As expected, state Republicans over the weekend re-elected Lenny Curry chairman of the party in Florida, despite the party’s inability to deliver Florida for presidential candidate Mitt Romney.
Curry said his goals for the party are to get Gov. Rick Scott re-elected next year as well as winning second terms for all the members of the Cabinet, all of whom are Republicans.
Curry also wants to expand the Republican majorities in the House and Senate and increase GOP registration, currently behind that of Democrats.
