On Saturday, the East Orlando Post published a report indicating that Ashton could have had two accounts with website from July 2013 to February 2015. According to the news site, the accounts associated with Ashton’s name were traced back using an Internet IP address linked to the Ninth Judicial Circuit, the office in which Ashton works.
Ashton shot to national prominence when he prosecuted the high-profile murder case against Casey Anthony, who was acquitted in 2011. The veteran prosecutor is married and has six children.

According to the Associated Press, hundreds of email addresses involved in the hack are linked to government workers in Canada, as well as members of the military and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
