Cumberland Farms Store on North Bumby, Robbed Again

Two suspects entered a convenience store early on Monday morning, pointed a handgun at the store clerk, and made off with an undisclosed amount of money.

Orlando police said, around 3:00 am, two suspects entered the Cumberland Farms at 101 N. Bumby Avenue. One of the suspects, a white male, who was armed with a handgun, demanded money from the register and from the safe.  The second suspect, a black or Hispanic males, stood in the doorway as a lookout.

Police said, both suspects wore hooded sweatshirts and bandanas covering their faces. The suspect armed with the handgun, the white male, wore a black bandana, black gloves, blue jeans and a black t-shirt.  The second suspect wore a brown hooded sweatshirt, black jeans and a black undershirt.

Police said, the suspects left the business in an unknown direction and left the area by unknown means.   No one was injured in the armed robbery, police said.

Last June 2010, the same Cumberland Farms store was robbed by four suspects, in a “take-over” style armed robbery.  All four were wearing all black clothing and three of them carried handguns.  The men wore bandannas over their faces.
