A New Hampshire mother, accused of abusing her three-year-old son, was arrested along with her boyfriend at Universal Studios in Orlando on Wednesday.
Authorities took 23-year-old Jessica Linscott and her boyfriend, Roland Dow, 27, into custody, following a nation-wide manhunt which spanned two weeks. Â The couple fled New Hampshire after they were charged with abusing the toddler.
Linscott and Dow were nabbed around 7:00 p.m. as they left a parade at Universal Studios. According to news reports, the pair were “totally surprised” they were caught.
Linscott has been charged with multiple counts of child endangerment, including failing to get medical attention for her 3-year-old son. Â The toddler, beaten and burned, had been left to recover in a New Hampshire hospital while Linscott and Dow headed to Orlando. Â Dow is charged with assault, authorities say.
The couple will be extradited to New Hampshire over the next few days.
