Seminole County Government recently launched “Seminole 311” a mobile phone app that provides access to government services at the touch of a button. Government apps provide information and services when you’re on the go.
Seminole County’s app, short for “application,” is a tool that helps citizens report an issue, accomplish a task, and/or find information. The app is designed to work on your mobile phone. The app is available to be downloaded through Google Play Store for Android and the iTunes App Store for iPhones and iPads by searching “Seminole 311.”
The Seminole County Office of Emergency Management and Information Services Department started conceptual work on this project late last year. Initially, the application was to help citizens report damage after a storm and to provide preparedness information to the public. Services have been expanded to public works / roads service requests, animal services issues, damage assessment reports, traffic signal issues, roadway marking repairs, and sinkhole reports.
Seminole County encourages all citizens to download the new “Seminole 311” mobile phone application. The mobile phone app continues to be improved, expanded, and enhanced each day.
