The Counseling Center of New Smyrna Beach accepts most insurance plans, but also offers affordable private pay rates. Many centers offer what is called a “sliding scale” – starting in the low range of $90 to a high range of $200 an hour.
The counseling center said it eliminates the need for anyone to prove income. Online counseling services charge on a weekly basis per month, locking individuals into monthly contracts and fees.
Since inception, they have offered counseling services for those who find themselves without insurance. The current rate for uninsured is $80.00 per session. There are several therapists who offer professional affordable care.
