Orlando Police are searching for a suspect who stabbed another man multiple times, as the two argued on Tuesday morning in the parking lot of the Comfort Suites motel on north Orange Avenue.
54-year-old Bruce T. Tooker told police he met the suspect at the Comfort Suites motel at 2416 north Orange Avenue and both went to another location. Tooker said, he drove the suspect back to the motel in his black Lincoln Towncar and the two began to argue in the parking lot. The suspect then pulled out a butcher-style knife and attacked Tooker, slashing him multiple times. Police said, the suspect fled the scene in Tooker’s vehicle.
Tooker was rushed to ORMC with life-threatening injuries.
Investigators found the murder weapon, the butcher knife, on the sidewalk of the motel.
The stolen vehicle is a 2002 Black Lincoln Towncar with the FLA tag/J545UH. Police said a BOLO was issued on all Orlando Police Radio channels with the description of the vehicle.
Police are advising anyone who locates the vehicle not to touch it or approach the suspect. Instead, call police immediately or Crimeline at #1-800-423-TIPS.
Callers may remain anonymous and be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
