Cops ID Woman Shot, Shooter in Custody

UPDATE:

Police have identified the suspect who shot 23-year-old Latoya Grady on Monday morning.

23-year-old Ryan Herman has been arrested and charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.  He has been booked into the Orange County Jail.

Orlando police have identified the woman who was shot in the 4300 block of Prince Hall Boulevard on Monday morning.

The victim is 23-year-old Latoya Grady, who suffered a single gun shot wound to her leg.

Police say, the shooter had an ongoing dispute in the neighborhood and it doesn’t appear that Grady was the intended target.   Cops also say, Grady was with the alleged intended target at the time she was shot.

The suspected shooter, who has not yet been named, is currently being interviewed.  His pending charges are attempted murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Detectives are continuing with their work and there may be additional charges and or arrests, pending the outcome of the investigation.
