Orlando police have arrested a man who they say, kidnapped a woman at gunpoint early on Monday morning.
30-year-old Jermaine Beeston has been charged with aggravated assault and armed kidnapping.
The kidnapping took place in the Pine Hills area just before 5:00 a.m. Â Witnesses told police they saw a woman being forced into a car at gunpoint at the Cypress Fairway condominiums.
Police said, they located Beeston and the unnamed victim at a home in the 5800 block of Laconia Drive in the Pine Hills area. Â OPD SWAT team surrounded the home and the standoff ended peacefully.
It is not clear what led to the armed kidnapping and aggravated assault by Beeston.
Authorities said, there were no injuries sustained during the incident and the investigation is ongoing.
