Phillip A. Miller joins the Center for Multicultural Wellness and Prevention (CMWP) as a new board member as of April 2013. Phillip comes to CMWP with a wealth of experience in organizational development, advocacy, problem solving, coaching and leadership. Miller is Vice President of Sage Evolution, LLC, a company providing coaching services to business owners in the Central Florida region. Phillip is a certified business coach drawing upon his background in administration, design engineering, international transportation, and social work. He helps business owners, executives, and managers develop and implement strategies for improvement and growth.
Prior to joining Sage Evolution, Phillip was the inaugural Director of Student Affairs for the reestablished Florida A&M University College of Law in Orlando, Florida. A Michigan native, Phillip worked at General Motors Corporation for almost twenty years in various positions within design engineering, international transportation, manufacturing, and other departments. This was preceded by his service as a caseworker for Ennis Center for Children, Inc., a foster care agency specializing in foster care placement, treatment, and adoptions.
Phillip has a B.S. degree in Medical Technology from the College of Human Medicine, Michigan State University with a minor in Psychology and graduate course work at Central Michigan University in Administration. He is a member of the Orange County Bar Association, the Seminole High School Student Advisory Committee, and a member of several other community and national organizations.
