City Year Orlando, an education-focused nonprofit that unites young people for a year of service in high-need schools, will hold Rock the Block, a fundraiser, on May 8, 2013 beginning at 6:00 PM at Quantum Leap Winery, 1312 Wilfred Dr., Orlando, FL.
Rock the Block with City Year Orlando, promises delicious wines from Orlando’s Quantum Leap Winery, delectable food from Food Truck Crazy, entertainment and more.
Rock the Block will benefit City Year Orlando which deployed 50 young adults this year to five Orange County Public Schools. In its founding year, City Year Orlando has served over 3,000 students at Evans High School, Meadowbrook Middle School, Memorial Middle School, Oak Ridge High School and Walker Middle School.
