Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and District 5 City Commissioner Daisy W. Lynum will join with education, medical and community partners to introduce the Orlando Medical Careers Partnership Program.
The program is a comprehensive approach that will engage City residents from elementary school through adulthood to provide job opportunities and create educational enhancements, while helping residents overcome barriers to success.
“Building on the success of the BLUEPRINT program, this initiative will focus in West Orlando. The education and training provided through this model partnership will continue to develop Orlando’s local workforce and equip residents with the skills to obtain the new high-wage, high-quality jobs in the healthcare industry being created right here in the Central Florida community,” said a statement from the city.
