More than 2,000 pages of documents were released on Thursday in the Casey Anthony case. Among the documents are letters to Casey from Cindy Anthony, her mother, and many others from persons across the U.S., most urging her to remain strong and to put her trust in God.
Cindy Anthony, in one of her recent letters to Casey, writes that she has faith someone will break their silence before long and say ‘enough is enough’, and shed light on what happened to her granddaughter, Caylee.  She says “there is still a lot of good people who believe in doing what is right.”
In a June 2010 letter Cindy tells Casey she is sorry for her accident, referring to the June 1st fall in the elevator when she sustained minor injuries, including chipping a tooth.
“I’m so glad you were able to get your tooth fixed. Well you have the same broken one I do and stitches to your lip just like Lee,” Cindy writes. “We have always been in tuned to each other.”
She says she is glad that Casey got medical attention soon after her fall and states that, “I can’t believe you haven’t fallen before then. Lots of people have worried about you.”
Cindy writes that she had a dream Casey will be home and thanks her daughter for trying to call on Mother’s Day.
Possibly referring to the more than 50 letters between Casey and her jailhouse pal Robyn Adams, in which Casey accuses her father, George and brother Lee of molesting her, Cindy writes that Casey is too trusting, just like she Cindy is.
“Unfortunately we both found out how ugly and mean people really are. There’s very few people you can trust and only one of whom you should put your trust,” Cindy writes. “God is the only one who will not let you down. I know you know that and your faith keeps mine stronger everyday.” She closes the letter by writing that she loves her very much.
In another letter to her daughter, Cindy appears to be looking forward to the media circus when Casey’s trial begins next year.
Cindy writes that when she saw the SWAT team in court when Casey was present, she “freaked out” and was “worried that there’s {increasing} threats on your life and are finally being taken seriously.”
“I hope they step up security next year, for all of us,” Cindy writes. “It’s going to be nuts.”
However, not to be out done, Cindy writes that she hopes that by next year it would be clear that someone else took Caylee, based on the evidence. She writes that its all “still very fishy” regarding Kronk’s {the meter reader who found Caylee’s remains} role and Leonard Padilla and what he knew.
“Hopefully by then somebody will actually look at the evidence and clearly see that they need to be looking for the real person that took our Caylee,” Cindy writes. “I still think they need to find out how Leonard knew Caylee was going to be found 2 days before it happened. (BTW I’m not convinced it was Caylee). I think it was all stagged (sic) and Leonard knew something was going to happen.”
Cindy writes about Kronk’s return to the wooded area where Caylee’s remains were found and notes that “funny this time he was too shook up to call the police himself.”  She notes that it did not stop {Kronk} from calling three times in August, indicating that he was not upset on those occasions.
Cindy then goes on to slam the shoddy detective work of the Orange County Sheriff’s office.
“Too bad the Sheriff’s Office was to (sic) busy building a case against you that they’ve overlooked all the facts that nothing has tied you to the sight (sic) @ Suburban Drive,” Cindy writes. “One big cover up to cover up shoddy police work.”
She notes that some of the local media are not buying the BS that was fed to them.
“Many are looking on their own and are seeing that all they have is a theory and nothing to back it up,” Cindy writes. “My understanding there is still an investigator but I think they’re still trying to find some proof you did it. Don’t they understand you can’t find something on someone if they didn’t do it.”
Cindy notes that detectives never searched Rich’s condo or the trunk of Jesse’s car.
She urges Casey to stay strong and writes that many people believe in her and {are} trying to get to the truth.
“There is (sic) a lot of deputies that disagree with what went on in 2008 re: you & Cays,” Cindy writes. “I have faith it won’t be long before someone breaks their silence and says enough is enough. There is still a lot of good people who believe in doing what is right.”
Casey Anthony is charged with first degree murder in the death of her two-year-old daughter, Caylee. She has maintained her innocence and has said that her daughter was was kidnapped by a baby sitter. The child’s remains were found in a wooded area near the Anthony family home, in December 2008. Anthony is in the Orange County Jail awaiting trial which is expected to commence on May 9, 2011.
