Cindy Anthony: I Can Still See Her

The state released on Tuesday hundreds more documents in the Case against Casey Anthony who is charged with first degree murder of her two-year-old daughter, Caylee.

Among the documents are letters to Casey in jail from well-wishers around the country, a memo from Lt. Tammi Unser of Corrections, documents that trace phone calls to and from the Anthony home, and a letter from Cindy Anthony to Casey.

In a recent letter Cindy Anthony writes that, she has finally been able to remove Caylee’s potty chair out of her bedroom and notes, it “sounds crazy that it was in there for 2 years.”

“It’s just so hard to let go of somethings”, Cindy Anthony wrote.  “We spent a lot of time together in the mornings while I was getting ready for work.  I can still see her.”

In the same letter Cindy Anthony opens it by complaining about the sharing of Casey’s “private mail with the public”, saying that she does not mind the Sheriff’s Office reading her daughter’s mail, but that the public should not have a right to do so.  Moreover, she writes that identity fraud is easy, so that “giving out people’s signatures to copy, cut and paste” is stupid.

Cindy Anthony invokes God and writes that, “Taking God out of the equation is what is fundamentally wrong with the nation these days”, and goes on to offer up a prayer in her letter to Casey. She concludes by imploring her daughter not to worry about her.

“I am too stubborn to give up even though it would be so easy–but can’t let the devil win”, Cindy Anthony wrote. “I have too much faith to let them steal my joy!”

A July 1st, 2010 letter from a Tennessee woman, Danielle expresses understanding and empathy for Casey.

Danielle writes that she feels Casey’s pain, as she lost her mother to cancer. She advises Casey to keep her head up and pray and says she will pray for Casey too.

Danielle writes about her family and the fact that she has a grandbaby and notes, “She is so funny”.  She writes that she loves Casey’s long hair telling her, “it looks good on you.”  She concludes by urging Casey to keep her head up and keep praying.

R. Jones of Missouri in his July 1st letter writes that he admires Casey.

“I admire and adore you. You are such an attractive, beautiful, gorgeous and lovely looking woman”, Jones writes. “You are by far the most beautiful looking woman that I’ve ever seen in my whole life.”

Jones is quite perplexed that Casey could be behind bars against her will.

“I don’t see how or why they can keep you in jail against your will”, Jones wrote.

Jones tells Casey in his letter that if she does need someone to talk to she could always write to him.  He asks Casey if she will be his girlfriend when she is released from jail.

A Nevada man, Raymond, writes that Casey is his “Dream Girl Type” and that he really wants her to come through this.

“You are beautiful on the inside as you are on the outside”, Raymond wrote. “Believe it, you emit quality. I can’t define and wouldn’t want to. I only want more and more of it.”

Raymond notes that he has written Casey before and says he hopes she has been getting and reading his letters.

“You are a center of attention type woman and to see you in this situation is very depressing”, Raymond wrote. “Keep being Casey–you cannot know the effect you have on me, but I will continue to let you know it until forever ends.”
