Christian Clergy to Host Voter Education Forum

The second installment of the Voter Education Forum Series hosted by the African American Council of Christian Clergy is scheduled for Tuesday, May 8, 2012 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Jones High School located at 801 South Rio Grande Avenue, Orlando, Florida 32805.

As you probably know, this year’s Presidential election stakes are as high as they can be for voters. Political leaders and community activists are working hard to send the message that, “What You Don’t Know Can Hurt You.” Help us to stop the Election Day Schemes at the polls by making sure everyone in the community is an informed voter.

There are many changes to the voting laws that you should know about. We believe we can adapt and overcome these new changes as long as we are willing to push through and make sure that our vote is cast and counts. Remember, this forum is dedicated to “Empower” the community, so come and let your voice be educated and equipped about the new voter laws.

Join us at Jones High School on Tuesday, May 8th at 7:00 p.m.  The stakes are high on many fronts and we need your support because what you don’t know can hurt you.
