Police said a 14-year-old carjacker stole an SUV in Orlando Monday morning with three young children inside. The suspect was identified as Alonzo McRoy.
Jackie Watson said she pulled up to a curve in front of a home to pick up her two daughters’ cousin for school and realized she needed to run into the house to pick something up. She said by the time she returned her vehicle, in a matter of seconds, the SUV carrying the three children was gone.
“I thought he was going to kill them. I didn’t know what to think. They were in the car and I thought he might panic or do something to them,” Watson said.
Inside the SUV were her two daughters, ages two and four and their 8-year-old cousin, Kimberly Cater. Kimberly, the oldest of the three, said she tried to talk her way out of the SUV before he took off.
“I said, ‘Please let me out,’ but he didn’t,” she said.
