Chief Demings announces Police Academy Class

Orlando Police Department Chief Val Demings is inviting participants to attend the upcoming Citizens Police Academy class beginning March 23rd 2010.  Celebrating 25 years, this incredible class offered to the public, provides a close-up look at the police department and how it keeps communities safe.

OPD Chief Val Demings

The class meets every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. for 14 weeks in the auditorium of the Orlando Police Department. One learns about all aspects of the police department, including the organizational structure. Ride along with an OPD patrol officer! See how to solve a crime and process evidence!
