Cherokee School to Unveil New Playground

WHAT:

Unveiling of the new Cherokee School playground and outdoor classroom area.

OCPS2ColorThanks to a $100,000 grant from Lowe’s Charitable and Educational Foundation Cherokee School now has an ADA-compliant playground and renovated outdoor area. Orange County Public Schools is one of 25 grant recipients nationwide. Join school board members, Superintendent Ronald Blocker, Principal Linda Weekley and Lowe’s representatives for this momentous occasion as the playground opens. Students, parents and teachers will be available for interviews.
