Fans are counting down the hours to kick off of the Champs Sports Bowl where NC State Wolfpack will square off with West Virginia Mountaineers at the Florida Citrus Bowl in Orlando on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 beginning at 6:30 pm. The Mountaineers and Wolfpack have faced each other nine times in their history, but this will be the first meeting in 22 years. The two schools last met in 1979 with WVU holding a slight edge in the all-time series at 5-4. The two schools have met twice in the postseason (1972 and 1975 Peach Bowls), splitting the pair of meetings.
Meanwhile, due to the inclement weather, the North Carolina State band and cheerleaders will not be at the Citrus Bowl in time for the Champs Sports Pep Rally. The NC State portion of the event, 5:45 – 6:30 pm, Florida Citrus Sports (FCS) said.
FCS also announced that parking iv VERY limited at the Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium. City of Orlando Parking Services and Orlando Venues management encourage patrons to park downtown and utilize the FREE shuttle service near the Amway Center. Beginning at 3:30 p.m., the free event shuttle will begin picking up at the corner of Church Street and Division Avenue and dropping off at the corner of Nashville and Church Street. Shuttles will run continuously until two hours following the game.

SHUTTLE SITES: Free shuttle service at the AMWAY CENTER with drop off and pick up on Nashville & Church Street. Shuttle service starts at 3:30 pm and runs 2 hours post game.

•Traveling Westbound on I-4: take the Anderson Street exit 82B.
TAILGATING POLICIES:
Parking is on first come first serve basis – no reserving of parking spaces.
Confine tailgating to front or rear of vehicle.
No dumping of hot coals on the ground.
No empty stalls between cars.
No gas powered generators (considered a fire hazard).
No glass containers, glass bottles and/or kegs.
No large external speakers.
No Re-entry into the lots on game day.
Patrons must provide your own trash bags.
Tents are to be 10′ by 10′ or smaller (anything larger requires a City permit).
