A Central Florida woman was recently arrested for speeding at 113 MPH on a motorcycle on I-4.
A Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputy was recently conducting traffic enforcement on I-4 near Polk City. At around 10:40pm, the deputy observed a black BMW motorcycle traveling at a very high rate of speed, dangerously weaving through traffic.
According to law enforcement, the deputy’s radar measured the bike’s speed at 113 MPH, in a 70 MPH zone.
A traffic stop was conducted and the deputy made contact with the motorcycle operator, 41-year-old Odalys Darelis Roman, of Orlando.
Roman said that she was on her way home, and was attempting to pass the vehicles in order to avoid a collision. She requested the deputy to only give her a warning.
