A Central Florida man won a $1,000 A Week For Life prize from the lottery.

The Florida Lottery recently announced that Joseph Moss, of Orlando, claimed a $1,000 a Week for Life prize from the multi-state Draw game, Cash4Life.

The Orange County winner chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,000,000.

The Central Florida man purchased his winning CASH4LIFE ticket from Publix, located at 10615 Narcoossee Road in Orlando.

This popular multi-state Draw game offered two lifetime prizes, with the chance to win $1,000 a Day for Life or $1,000 a Week for Life. Florida was the ninth state to join CASH4LIFE. The Cash4Life Draw game ended on February 21, 2026. Although Cash4Life is no longer offered, the Florida Lottery said winners like Joseph Moss highlight the lasting impact of the game’s life-changing prizes.

The Florida Lottery is responsible for contributing more than $49 billion to enhance education and sending more than 983,000 students to college through the Bright Futures Scholarship Program. The Florida Lottery reinvests 99 percent of its revenue into Florida’s economy through prize payouts, commissions to more than 13,550 Lottery retailers, and transfers to education. Since 1988, Florida Lottery games have paid over $104.8 billion in prizes and created more than 4,475 millionaires.
