A 33-year-old Central Florida man was arrested for possessing child porn, and law enforcement is seeking information involving potential sexual abuse of a child.
Nicholas P. Nisivoccia, of Ormond Beach, was arrested on 45 counts of possessing child pornography following a Volusia Sheriff’s Office Child Exploitation Unit investigation of a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
After obtaining a search warrant, Volusia County detectives discovered explicit videos on Nisivoccia’s electronic devices which depict sexual abuse of female and male victims ranging in age from infant to 12 years old. Detectives believe he downloaded the images.
Nisivoccia was arrested and transported to the Volusia County Branch Jail where he remains held pending a first court appearance according to local law enforcement.
