Central Florida Local PACs are Private Dancers

‘I’m your private dancer, dancer for money, do what you want me to do,’ by Tina Turner, are the lyrics that rush through my head when I think about all of the recent ‘unofficial’ political action committees (PACs) organized in Central Florida, created to influence upcoming local elections.

Who are these people? Who do they work for? Are they raising money? The questions go on and on. It seems that these organizations have done more to confuse the voters as opposed to addressing the voters’ concerns.

Are they afraid to speak the truth because they fear that an elected official may not invite them to the spring high school dance? Is this why they remain private dancers hiding in the shadows?

Central Florida deserves answers! Stop doing the private two step, waltzing with everyone including their opposition, just to ensure that after the election ‘everyone still likes you.’ Stop two-stepping and STEP up to the plate!

If you claim to be an organization that is willing to take on the establishment by throwing rocks, then take David’s lead from the Bible – throw the rocks, but also show your hand.
