A Central Florida detention deputy cadet was arrested.
The detention deputy cadet with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office was arrested for Domestic Violence Battery.
The Zephyrhills Police Department responded to the 6800 block of Shelby Lynn Way in Zephyrhills in Pasco County. According to local law enforcement, Ivan Feliciano Heredia was then arrested for Domestic Violence Battery.
Ivan Feliciano Heredia has been employed with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office since December 8, 2025.
“This behavior is unacceptable and does not reflect the values of the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister at the time of the arrest. “We hold every member of this agency to the highest standards of conduct, regardless of their tenure. Let me be clear: no one is above the law, and any individual who violates it will be held fully accountable.”
