A Florida woman who tested positive for the H1N1 virus, or Swine Flu, died this week at Florida Hospital in Altamonte Springs, according to health authorities.

The woman, 30, had been admitted earlier this month, suffering from respiratory complications, hospital authorities said Tuesday.

Hospital spokesperson Samantha O’Lenick emphasized the fact that the H1N1 virus was only one factor in a complicated health picture for this woman.

“The patient was considered high risk,” O’Lenick said, adding that health authorities were still working to establish an exact cause of death.
