Bush, Friend of Former Windermere Police Chief, Arrested Again

The man who may have cost former Windermere Police his job, was re-arrested on Tuesday night by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputies.

Scott F. Bush

50-year-old Scott Frederick Bush, of Windermere and a friend of former Windermere Police Chief, Daniel Salor, was charged with an additional count of sexual battery on a second juvenile victim. Bush was previously arrested by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) on January 12, earlier this year, for sexual battery on a person less than 12 years of age and lewd and lascivious acts upon a minor.

According to FDLE, the additional allegations resulted in the issuance of a warrant on April 11, by the State Attorney’s Office.

Bush was re-arrested last night by Orange County Sheriff’s deputies and is being held in the Orange County Jail.

Saylor, 44, lost his job as Windermere Police Chief in January earlier this year, when he also was arrested and charged with terminating an investigation by his department into the sexual battery of a child to keep, his friend, Bush from going to jail.

A statement from FDLE said, the Office of State Attorney Lawson Larmar, will prosecute the cases.
