The Florida Department of Health in Seminole County will no longer be offering pediatric services due to budgetary shortfalls.
Effective August 1st, the pediatric services will not be offered at the health department. Clients with insurance need to contact their chosen primary care provider and clients without insurance or that are self-pay can contact the Central Florida Family Health Center.
A statement released by the Florida Department of Health in Seminole County said, pediatric care is offered at hundreds of other partnering community health centers and doctor’s offices.
