Starting Tuesday, women in the Orlando area can deposit breast milk to help infants in need.
At-risk infants in Central Florida and across the country will have more access to human milk when Florida Hospital opens the first ever milk depot in Central Florida.
The  milk depot provides a safe way for women who are breast-feeding their babies, to give away excess milk to the neediest newborns through a screened, pasteurized process.
The Florida Hospital milk depot is the second of its kind to open in state, following a similar one which opened in Miami earlier this year.
