There are news reports that a 10-year-old boy has died after being struck by a bus at Disney.
The boy, who was riding his bike in front of Fort Wilderness Resort with a friend, was struck earlier today by a Walt Disney World bus.
The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) investigating the accident said that the boy was struck on a two-lane roadway around 1:45 pm. The boy died at the scene, Sgt. Kim Montes of FHP said to reporters. Both children were wearing helmets.
Troopers have not released the names of the child or driver of the bus.
FHP is continuing with their investigation.
