Boy, 10, Shot in the Eye After Gunfire Erupts on Orlando Streets, Hoodlums Remain At Large

Gunfire on Orlando streets on Saturday evening (August 1st)  led to a 10-year-old boy being shot in his eye and the hoodlums still on the loose.

Orlando police say, witnesses reported an altercation between several subjects, around 7:00 p.m. near 5801 Shenandoah Way at the Pacifico Place Apartments.

Shots were fired and several men were seen fleeing in vehicles.  A 10-year-old boy looking out of the window at the melee, was shot near his left eye.

Police say, three victims showed up with non-life threatening injuries at Florida Hospital.

Two victims told investigators that they heard a verbal altercation among a group of men, then there was gun fire. Subsequently, they realized they were shot.  The third victim declined to speak with investigators.

Police have released photos of vehicles that were present during the shooting. They are of interest.
