A man who carried out of spate of armed robberies over the week-end and who led cops in a chase that ended on Orange Blossom Trail on Monday has been arrested and jailed, Orlando Police officers said.
Quintilian Lott, 40, was taken into custody and charged with Robbery with a Firearm and Fleeing and Eluding cops.
According to police, Lott entered the Comfort Suites at 5617 Major Boulevard on December 4th, around 9:33 pm, and once inside displayed a handgun and demanded money from the cash drawer. The clerk complied and Lott fled the scene. No one was injured.
Again, on December 5th around 9:41 am, Lott was identified as entering the CVS pharmacy at 2351 S Hiawassee Rd and made a small purchase. Once the register was opened Lott leaned over the counter, threatened the cashier with a gun and took the money from the register. Lott was last seen entering a maroon SUV and leaving the area.
In the afternoon of December 5th, around 1:00 pm, Lott committed an armed robbery at the 711 at 2605 Silver Star Road. He fled the store in a burgundy Jeep Liberty.
On Monday, December 6th, OPD Officer Carmen Dunlap, observed a vehicle matching Lott’s vehicle at Fairbanks and Edgewater in the parking lot of the Cumberland Farms. Lott fled in the vehicle and a vehicle pursuit ensued. The pursuit ended at 3508 S OBT. Lott was taken into custody and charged with Robbery w Firearm and Fleeing and Eluding.
Follow up investigation determined that Lott was wanted in connection with a Bank Robbery in Polk County. Lott has numerous aliases and was released from Tomoka Correctional Institute on September 10, 2009 where he served time for crimes ranging from property to violent offenses as well as drug charges.
Lott is currently in the Orange County Jail and has been charged with ALL (3) above robberies.
