Investigators say, the body of a woman missing since February 9, has been found.

Carline Brumaire Jean, 39, was last seen leaving her workplace at the Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Studios in Orlando, around 4:30 p.m. Up until yesterday, a search for Jean turned up nothing.

On Monday, a security guard at the royal Pacific Hotel noticed what appeared to be displaced bushes in a rear parking lot behind the hotel, which borders a retention pond. The guard also noticed a Toyota hubcap floating in the water.

Orange County Sheriff’s Office Marine Unit dive team members retrieved Jean’s vehicle from the pond with her body inside.  The Medical Examiner is yet to make a final determination on Jean’s cause of death.  Investigators do not suspect foul play.

Jean, who was originally from Haiti, had only driven a couple of times before that fateful day.

The Royal Pacific Resort and retention pond are located in the city of Orlando; Jean’s death investigation has been turned over the Orlando Police Department.
