Vice President Joe Biden and Education Secretary Arne Duncan will be at Duncan U. Fletcher High School in Neptune Beach on Thursday, the White House announced.
Biden and Duncan will discuss college affordability.
“Since the members of Fletcher High School’s senior class were born, average published tuition and fees at public four-year colleges have tripled,” the White House said in a statement about the planned visit.
“The Vice President will discuss the importance of college and the steps the administration has taken to keep college affordable. He will also call on colleges and universities to do their part to contain costs and ensure college remains within reach for the middle class.”
